Snoop: In Like a Dogg out Like a Lion
In the ever changing world of celebrity names (think Puff Daddy/P.Diddy) is it a surprise that Snoop Dogg changed his name to Snoop Lion? Maybe just a little, after all it’s been his brand for a couple decades. Those of us old enough to remember, know that he actually started out in the biz as Snoop Doggy Dog. However, once we realized where this revelation hit him, while on a trip to Jamaica, maybe not so surprising. While Snoop was there apparently a Rastafarian High Priest told him his name should be Snoop Lion. Our question is, was it a High Priest or a “high” priest? Hmm…
His is currently working on a new reggae album which is aptly titled, “Reincarnated”. Roar.
